Adding a Countertop Filter to Your Kitchen

Acountertop filteris a great appliance to add to your kitchen. We got our filter out of concern for our use of bottled water. We started by keeping track of our use. It’s amazing when you start to look at your habits. We were using over a case a week with a family of four. The amount of plastic that we were contributing to the landfills alone was reason to get a countertop filter.

After reviewing a lot of choices out there we picked the Aquasana AQ-4000  countertop water filter.At nine cents a gallon for usage compared to “I don’t even want to figure it out more expensive than  the  cost of bottled water”, we not only are getting great filtered water to drink, we also using it for our coffee and tea. I got to tell you it sure tastes a lot better than bottled water and cheaper too. I didn’t know that bottled water isn’t controlled by the EPA, and that the quality can vary wildly.  The Aquasana AQ-4000 is Underwriters Laboratory approved  and the State of California Department of Health certified.
