Legolas Fighting Knives

While Legolas was more known as a skilled archer in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, the elf was also skilled in close combat, using knives as his weapon of choice. There are many times in the movie would he be seen in battle, not taking out his targets at a distance with his bow and arrows, but rather in the middle of the fray, using his knives with mastery and great precision. A Complete Nonstick Stainless Steel Cookware Set

Our daughter is finally moving out and getting her first apartment. While she did live out of the house while she was going to college, it was in a dormitory with roommates. Now that she has graduated she’s been able to line up a great job and will be getting a small place closer to the city. We wanted to make sure she has everything she needs to have a comfortable home, so we went on a little shopping spree for some new linens, kitchenware and other goodies. A Versatile Glass Food Storage Set

I’ve been storing my food in plastic for years. Big plastic containers for my dry cereals. smaller ones for teas, cookies, snacks and other foodies. Then I have another set of plastic containers for my leftovers. But unfortunately the longer I use them the uglier they get, especially the ones I use for leftovers that become stained from the sauces and other foods stored in them. The other problem with the plastic storage containers  is that you can’t re-heat leftovers in them. Now there are so many articles of the dangers of many of the plastics gradually leaking toxins into our foods. Leftover Turkey Casserole

As usual I made way too much turkey for Thanksgiving. This year it was especially bad, because I didn’t know that my sister was also making a large ham. So what’s a girl to do with all this extra turkey? After all there are only so many turkey sandwiches you can eat before getting completely sick of them. Thankfully I came across this Thanksgiving leftover casserole recipe. I made it for dinner today and it was great.
