Workout To Weights And Gain A Toned Body

Okay. You go to the gym and sit at one of those weight machines where you mindlessly perform the same motion of exercise over and over without too much of a thought. Well if this sounds like you, maybe it’s time to change that workout routine and think instead of using free weights. Yes, free-weights. You know those letters “I” shaped things resting on the racks at the gym. Fear not. There are weights smaller in size in increments of 1 pound and up. Not sure what to do? If your gym has a personal trainer on staff make an appointment and let the trainer work with you solo specifically on free weights. You’re going to be pleasantly surprised once you see the benefits you’ll get from working out this way.

Free weights will give you a more toned appearance, and it helps speed up your metabolism, which in turn helps you burn fat faster. And because you have to concentrate through the exercise using the free weights, your muscles will get the most benefit. Weight training generally improves your endurance, posture and your mood. So next time you’re at the gym don’t settle for mindless machine exercises. Get busy burning fat, improve your balance and coordination with those funny looking weighted objects you avoided for so long.
